The Shrine was born from David Kohler’s four-decade journey preserving the history, stories, and culture surrounding basketball in Los Angeles.
What began over 40 years ago as a personal passion for collecting game-worn memorabilia, championship artifacts, and iconic pieces of basketball history eventually grew into the Lakers Shrine; a community dedicated to sharing those stories with fans around the world.
Today, that passion lives on through The Shrine, a brand inspired by the eras, players, and moments that shaped generations of basketball fans.
